What age are these for?
Six and up. The text uses short lines and simple words for children starting to read alone, and works just as well read aloud to a five-year-old. Older children read them fine too — the subject matter carries.
What do I actually receive?
Two files per book: an EPUB and a PDF. The EPUB is fixed-layout, so text and pictures stay exactly where they belong. Use the PDF if you'd rather not install a reader.
How do I open an EPUB?
On iPhone or iPad, save the file and open it in Apple Books. On Android you'll need a reader such as Google Play Books. On a computer, Apple Books, Calibre, or Adobe Digital Editions all work. If you'd rather skip all of that, just use the PDF — it opens anywhere.
When do I get the files?
Immediately. A download link is emailed to you as soon as your payment goes through.
Can I print them?
Yes, for your own family or your own classroom. The PDF is set up as A4 landscape. Please don't distribute copies beyond that.
Can I use these in my classroom?
Yes. One purchase covers one teacher and their own class. If your school wants copies for several classes or a whole staff, get in touch and we'll sort out a school licence.
Is the diagnosis explained anywhere?
Yes, on the last page of every book, written for the adult. It's deliberately not in the story — children don't experience a diagnosis, they experience a day.
Do you have these in other languages?
Not yet. Danish is in progress. Get in touch if you'd like to know when it lands.
Can I get a refund?
Because these are instant downloads we can't take them back once they've been sent. If a file won't open or something's wrong with it, email us and we'll fix it or refund you.
